After a long wait, Microsoft has finally released a new Xbox 360 emulator. However, they have not provided this emulator for free and instead have placed these tools on their website as a limited free trial for three months. The limited free trial is only available to those who do not own an Xbox 360 or if their subscription is running out. In other words if you have already downloaded the previous version of this software, the update will now stop functioning from now on. Those who do not fall into these categories can now purchase a license key to download and use it freely without any restrictions or limitations that might impede your progress in playing games on your favorite console. Before we gain access to this software, we need to download the latest version which is (v4.2.0.2) and take a quick look at what it contains: New additions:A huge step for this emulator has been taken and we can now play games that were previously impossible to emulate such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and many more. Being an emulator, these titles will run only if the system requirements are equal or better than those of Xbox 360 so if you have a low-end PC it might not be worth downloading this software as the results will be disappointing. However, those with mid-range to high-end hardware should have no problem playing games at a decent speed. One noticeable difference from the previous version is the lack of a user-interface. The creators have removed this feature thinking it would be inconvenient to have an additional window open while playing a game so all operations are now done from the main application window. The emulator has been updated to work on modern operating systems such as Windows 10 and Linux which can also be used while playing games. However, while using different operating systems you will not be able to play games that were specifically designed for Xbox. Unlike other emulators for Xbox 360, this does not limit us to a single set of settings for all titles which makes it easier to get started quickly with minimal customization needed. Furthermore, unlike most other emulators, it can emulate almost 50% of all games released for Xbox 360 so this is a huge step up from the previous 3% they were able to emulate. The emulator is now available to download freely from Microsoft’s website and it encompasses all the tools needed to run most games with ease. In addition to this, most games have been updated with patches and fixes which make them look and play better than ever before. Although some minor bugs and incompatibilities might still exist, we cannot deny that the creators have significantly improved upon their first attempt at an emulator which we can now use as a reliable tool for playing Xbox 360 titles on our computers. It is no surprise that this new emulator has been downloaded over 10 000 times within the first 2 hours of its release, making it easily accessible to everyone who was looking for a solution to their problem of playing Xbox 360 games on PC. The only setback is that Microsoft has limited its free access for three months until after that it will be no longer available on their website. With more than 20 titles already available for download, the future looks bright for this new emulator so be sure to check it out before Microsoft takes down the files or discover some helpful hacks while using it. Whatever your reason might be, you should not wait any longer and get started with one of our favorite emulators today. cfa1e77820
